Okay, time to brag! At AGT we value our employees and the work they do not only for the company, but outside of the office in their personal lives as well. We are proud to have an assortment of AGT’ers with various interests and aptitudes, and we like to highlight their achievements whenever we can. Here are some recent success stories from two of our accomplished employees, inside and outside the workplace.
Ben Hitt, AGT’s director of A/V integration, was recently selected as a “2014 Talent Standout” by Commercial Integrator magazine. This is a huge honor, as only 14 professionals in the audio visual industry were included in the lineup. Ben significantly expanded his certification portfolio this year with Crestron DMC-E-4K certification, SMART Technologies certification and Crestron Fusion Programming training. He also led countless A/V projects for AGT and is always identifying ways to help end users solve problems and achieve their collaboration goals. Ben’s customer-centric approach to his work is something to be admired, and we are proud to have him and his team of A/V technicians on our staff.
Another employee accolade we would like to highlight is about Julienne Kung Park, one of AGT’s QA team members. Julienne, an accomplished violist and cellist, recently played in the Georgia Symphony Orchestra at Atlanta’s Fox Theater. Having previously played the viola for the orchestra, Julienne expanded her performance portfolio when she was included in the orchestra’s string section as a cellist on December 15, 2014. In addition to the woodwinds, brass and percussion sections, the orchestra consisted of 22 violins, eight violas, eight celli and four bass players. Julienne played alongside well-known artists Amy Grant and Michael W. Smith. In other exciting news, Julienne was recently chosen to serve on the 2015 Young Alumni Council for Georgia Tech. The council consists of alumni who have graduated from the institution within the past ten years and works to support programs and services for young GT alumni. Julienne will serve on the council as the GT Gold Career Content Manager. These are outstanding accomplishments and we are very happy for her!
