Welcome to the first official post of AGT’s blog – a new resource dedicated to the future of video conferencing and a place where we will share updates on industry events, our products & services, and offer commentary by video conferencing experts.
Speaking of industry events, we are very excited about the upcoming InfoComm Show, an event all about collaboration and communication. This year’s InfoComm will take place in sunny Orlando at the Orange County Convention Center, June 11 – June 14, and AGT will be exhibiting at booth 1781 with our friends in the Unified Collaborative Conferencing Pavilion. AGT’ers will be onsite demonstrating our managed and cloud Video-as-a-Service platform, a unique offering that enables video conferencing across different networks (a.k.a…B2B video without the typical hassles!) and on a wide variety of video-enabled devices and endpoints – HD video systems, tablets, smartphones, web browsers, Microsoft Lync. Not only does our VaaS platform improve the way we all communicate and present a high level of interoperability, it is the backbone of our partner program, which allows service providers to quickly white label and sell branded video solutions to their existing customer base. And when we say “quickly,” we mean less than 90 days! In addition, we will be sharing some brand new capabilities at the show…but our lips are sealed and we will save that news for the official show floor.
Another important component of InfoComm is IMCCA, a video conferencing and UC association that is a big supporter of the show. IMCCA hosts many influential events, including UC Day and user and vendor panels. We are fortunate to be a member of IMCCA and plan to take part in several of the events, including the popular State of the Industry Lunch & Learn Panel, moderated by Dr. S. Ann Earon, Chairperson Emeritus at IMCCA. To learn more about IMCCA and InfoComm, read their official announcement and check out this recent IMCCA post on the industry, including a preview of what to expect at this year’s show.
