AGT's products and services are managed by Executive VPs from two business units – PerfectMeetings, led by Mark Cray, and AGTFederal, led by Mike Garvey. PerfectMeetings specializes in Managed and Hosted services for video conferencing. AGTFederal provides comprehensive integration services for video room installation, A/V design and programming, custom communication systems, and specialized Federal/DOD & State solutions.

Longevity is a key aspect of AGT, with the company still managed by the original founders and senior management with an average of 10 years of service. Clients have consistently renewed contracts and expanded services with AGT, with some programs entering their 10th year.

Overview

Mike Valletutti, Chairman & CEO
Mike Valletutti provides Applied Global Technologies with more than 20 years of direct experience in video conferencing and collaboration technologies. As a co-founder of the company he now chairs, Valletutti is a driving force in the innovation of IP collaborative communication tools that are integrated into the work place environment and are easy-to-use. His forward thinking philosophy drives him to create solutions where technology is utilized to improve customer service, provide a deeper understanding of problems, improve user adoption, and take business video communicating beyond today’s conferencing limitations. He led the design of a hosted broadband desktop video service that connects teleworkers, B2B, and office workers together for enterprise-wide collaboration. Mike has traveled globally to visit with clients and partners, been a featured or panel speaker at industry events, and participates as a non-profit board member on IMCCA.org. He holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology where he specialized in Economic Decision Analysis, Operations Research and Modeling, and Quality Control. Mike currently resides in his hometown of Brevard County FL.

Ben Atha, President & CTO
Ben Atha is in his 16th year with Applied Global Technologies – the company he co-founded in 1993. Atha is responsible for AGT’s research and development, engineering and customer specific integration. Prior to establishment of AGT, Mr. Atha developed his skills over 10 years of communication systems research and development in both military and commercial applications. AGT’s R&D team, under his guidance, develops innovative new solutions and technologies to make video collaboration easier to manage and more accessible to the end user. He holds both his undergraduate degree and his Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and currently resides in northwest Atlanta.

Mark Cray, Executive VP
Mark Cray is the Executive Vice President of AGT’s PerfectMeetings Managed Video Business Unit which provides technology and services to business, government, and service providers. Mark has been with Applied Global Technologies for 11 years and has served many key roles in Engineering, Management, and Sales and Marketing. Mark was instrumental in the creation and development of AGT’s Managed Video Services, which has made AGT the fastest growing video service provider in North America. Mark closely works with AGT’s R&D team to develop solutions that lower total cost of ownership, enhance existing services, and reach more users. Prior to AGT, Mark served in the US Navy as a Nuclear Power Operation Specialist. Mark currently resides in Brevard County, Florida.

Mike Garvey, Executive VP
As Executive Vice President Mike Garvey leads AGT Federal, providing more than 20 years experience in IT engineering, program management, multimedia network design and analysis, and senior-level sales management. Mike has played a key role in AGT's rapid sales growth over the past 7 years, including building a Federal Sales team, providing business development, and managing many key vendor relationships. In 2007, he was instrumental in the creation of a new division within AGTFederal - Mobile & Fixed Communications Division focused on advanced communications systems for First Responders. Mike holds a Bachelor’s Degree from James Madison University and currently resides in Northern Virginia.
