Overview

AGT recognizes that Audio Visual equipment and services are an integral part of most organizations collaboration environment. Enterprise deployments of AV within an organization can vary from small simple conference rooms that contain a projector and a conference phone to large executive conference rooms and auditoriums with integrated audio, video, multiple displays and control systems. These rooms are often dispersed both nationally and globally. AGT’s emphasis and focus is on integrating and supporting these Enterprise AV deployments. Our expertise includes engineering, design, programming, integration/installation, and support services for all type of AV solutions including; Distance Learning, Multimedia Rooms, Training Rooms, Executive Conference Rooms, and Auditoriums.

Our Design

With any of our AV solutions, the technology is built into the rooms in such a manner that it naturally blends into the room aesthetics and provides for a professional appearance. The solutions are designed to be used as fully functional videoconferencing rooms and/or as PC/multi-media presentation rooms. Our solutions can be integrated with AMX/Crestron Touch panel systems, complete audio systems, video routing, Videoconferencing, LCD Projectors, and Plasma displays.

AV Maintenance and Managed Services

Support services play a crucial part in ensuring the continual success of a video conferencing and collaboration network. We can’t fully control the fact that equipment is subject to failure and may require replacement. What we can control is how we allow that failure to effect our customer’s operations. AGT has 3 flexible service offerings designed to protect your equipment investment, minimize downtime, and provide superior support services.

Managed AV

The Managed AV service not only provides traditional support services, but it also includes operational support and management for your Audio Visual equipment deployment. Managed AV provides the highest level of service due to the fact that it typically entails dedicated and on-site resources. A Managed Service is particularly beneficial for organizations that have large enterprise wide AV deployments. The key benefit of this service is that AGT (Collaboration Experts) takes responsibility and control of your AV environment and allows you to focus on your core competencies. Our success is measured by the success of collaboration in your organization.

AGT’s Managed AV Services include:

  • Dedicated Help Desk
  • Full Time On-Site Support Staff
  • Remote Device Monitoring/Management
  • Next Day Hardware Replacement
  • Next Day On-site Support Technicians
  • Preventative Maintenance Visits
  • Trouble Ticketing
  • Web Portal
  • Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly Reporting
  • End User Training and Usage Promotion
  • Monthly Technical Review Meetings
  • Quarterly Business Review Meetings

Premium PM Maintenance

Premium PM Maintenance provides a comprehensive services plan that focuses on minimizing downtime and protecting your hardware investment. The key elements of providing the service are help desk, advanced hardware replacement/support, and preventative maintenance. We provide these services to your organization under a Service Level Agreement so that we can ensure minimal impact from failures and outages.

Premium PM Maintenance includes:

  • Live Phone Support
  • Advanced Hardware Replacement
  • Next Day On-site Support
  • Preventative Maintenance Visits
  • Trouble Ticketing
  • Web Portal
  • Monthly Technical Review Meetings

Premium Maintenance

Similar to Premium PM Maintenance, this plan focuses on minimizing downtime and protecting your hardware investment. The key elements of this plan are help desk and advanced hardware replacement/support. This plan does not include preventative maintenance visits or monthly technical reviews and is designed for less complex AV deployments.

Premium Maintenance includes:

  • Live Phone Support
  • Advanced Hardware Replacement
  • Next Day On-site Support
  • Trouble Ticketing

Integrated Streaming and Recording

AGT’s AV Solutions can incorporate integrated digital recording, streaming, and archiving. AGT’s streaming and recording solution, the CONFERENCE-DVR, works in conjunction with videoconferencing endpoints or MCU’s. The CONFERENCE-DVR streams the video/audio and presentation content simultaneously to provide a rich media viewing experience. Remote viewers can view a live presentation of the streamed content or view a previously recorded session.

View of Streamed/Recorded Conference

CONFERENCE-DVR Features

  • Seamless operation with H.239 and non-H.239 videoconferencing endpoints
  • Integrated with AMX/Crestron Touch Panels to provide simple “one-touch” control
  • Record up to 5 Simultaneous Sessions
  • Connect up to 12 Concurrent videoconferencing endpoints
  • Connect directly to an MCU for large conference support
  • Present directly from videoconferencing endpoint (no PC required)
  • Remote presentation capability from a PC to videoconferencing endpoints

What’s Unique about CONFERENCE-DVR?

In addition to the standard streaming and recording features of the CONFERENCE-DVR, AGT specifically addressed two areas of concern for our customers. The first is the ability of CONFERENCE-DVR to work with both H.239 and non-H.239 videoconferencing endpoints seamlessly. Our experience and research in the industry tells us that a significant percentage of organizations still have a large number of legacy or non H.239 endpoints deployed within their networks. Our design allows for both types of endpoints to be connected to the same conference an openly share video and content. This allows a non-H.239 endpoint to present both video and content during a conference to H.239 video endpoints or vice versa.

The CONFERENCE-DVR also addresses the remote PC user. For the PC user with no access to videoconferencing, with CONFERENCE-DVR they have the ability to present via the web to videoconferencing users. In addition, the remote PC user has the ability to view the power point presentation via the web and attend via audio. This flexibility allows your videoconferences to include home office and traveling attendees.

Distance Learning

Our expertise in AV Solutions includes Distance Learning for education and training for the Federal Government, Commercial Enterprises, Universities, and K-12. Our approach incorporates multiple technologies to create a “Blended Learning” environment. The “Blended Learning” environment can include AV hardware, PC application sharing and collaboration software, videoconferencing, streaming and recording. These tools are used to create a learning and training environment that is not limited to the walls of the classroom.

In our “Blended Learning” environment, AGT uses PERSPECTIVE to provide PC viewing, sharing, and collaboration. PERSPECTIVE is the first web collaboration solution built on the multidirectional technology required for interactive applications. PERSPECTIVE’s multidirectional technology delivers an experience unlike any other web collaboration solution: a highly dynamic environment in which an instructor can simultaneously view each students PC on a single PC screen, Plasma, or Projector.

PERSPECTIVE enables Instructors to:

  • Constantly monitor a virtually unlimited number of live PC’s either in a single classroom or dispersed globally
  • Re-size any remote PC image
  • Select a PC image for full screen viewing
  • Take control of a student PC
  • View an entire workstation or specific application

PERSPECTIVE provides the instructor the capability to view the PC’s of the local classroom students, in addition to remote classroom students, see figure below.
