BRITISH PETROLEUM SELECTS APPLIED GLOBAL TECHNOLOGIES’ EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS PLATFORMS TO SUPPORT OPERATIONS IN RUSSIA

Asset Protection and Response Operations will be enhanced through AGT’s mobile and fixed communications platforms

Rockledge, FL – March 6, 2007 - Applied Global Technologies, the leader in collaboration managed video services and innovator of emergency response communications systems, announces that it has been awarded a contract to provide two Mobile Emergency Response Communication platforms to British Petroleum’s Republic of Georgia Geo-Operations Support Division. This BP Division is responsible for the communications and coordination efforts for emergency response activities to ensure protection, operation, and efficiency of BP assets in the region.

"We’re very excited that BP has chosen AGT’s Mobile Command & Control platforms for this mission," stated Mike Garvey, Vice President of Mobile and Fixed Communication Systems, Applied Global Technologies. "Our fully integrated platform technologies provide the backbone for rapid, effective, and reliable communications from any location in less than 30 minutes, and our systems do not depend on commercial power or terrestrial infrastructure."

AGT designs, engineers, integrates and constructs rapidly deployable mobile and fixed communication systems. Its comprehensive package of communications solutions includes satellite, radio and networking technology within a full range of emergency response products that strengthen the ability of all commercial, military, and civilian agencies (statewide/county/local) to collaborate in real-time. These first responder emergency communications modules are in compliance with published US nationwide and statewide interoperability standards.

"Our engineering and programming teams continue to find ways to improve an application, whether it is improving the quality of visual communications or, as in this solution, decreasing the setup time by 80%," stated Mike Valletutti, Chief Executive Officer, Applied Global Technologies. "As video moves from being exclusively in the boardroom and into new areas, we find opportunities where applying sound R&D and innovation produces a better outcome."

AGT recently completed Phase I of the Florida Army National Guard’s RERN program (Regional Emergency Response Network) with a successful exercise throughout the state of Florida that included its Mobile and Fixed systems. The Company also recently completed a Mobile Satellite Multi-Modal Crisis Collaborative Network for the Minnesota Army National Guard.

MOBILE SITE COMMAND (MSC) SYSTEMS are for customers that require a mobile deployable platform for emergency response voice, video, and data communications from one or more incident sites. The focus of each MSC is to provide effective communications both around an incident site (horizontal) and from responders at the incident site to their respective chains of command (vertical). MSC solutions can be trailer-based, container-based, or vehicle-based and are optionally helo-sling and airlift-capable.
