ACT TELECONFERENCING AND APPLIED GLOBAL TECHNOLOGIES® ANNOUNCE STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP TO OFFER IP VIDEO CONFERENCING PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

DENVER - ACT Teleconferencing Inc. (ACTT.PK), a worldwide provider of audio, video and web-based conferencing products and services, and Applied Global Technologies (AGT), a privately held innovative IP technology company, today jointly announced they have entered into a strategic partnership to offer cutting-edge Internet Protocol (IP) video products and services.

Under terms of the agreement, ACT Teleconferencing will market AGT's award-winning IP video conferencing products and services globally under its own private labels, the first of which is named Ready Connect Video. The two companies will work closely together to bring to market the latest in innovative IP video offerings.

"AGT's best in class on-demand IP video conferencing product expands and complements ACT's existing global video services," said ACT President and CEO Gene Warren. "We are making this new product - Ready Connect Video - immediately available to our existing video and audio clients. We have demonstrated the new product to several clients and their response has been overwhelmingly positive. This will be the first of many IP video products and services that we will offer in partnership with AGT."

The product will be available through ACT's service delivery areas, which include North America, Europe and Asia Pacific. AGT has been recognized by the conferencing industry as best-in-class winning awards like the Frost and Sullivan 2005 Technology Innovation Award. AGT is a two-time member of the Inc. 500 Fastest Growing Private Companies, was recognized in 2006 by the Technology Association of Georgia, and is a past winner of both The Polycom and Tandberg Solution of the Year Awards.

"We are delighted that our partnership with ACT Teleconferencing will take our ground-breaking automated video service global for 2006," stated Mike Valletutti, Chairman and CEO of Applied Global Technologies. "Combining AGT's award-winning R&D with ACT's in-country support and infrastructure is a win-win for both of our companies and, more importantly, our customers."
