AGT and POLYCOM technology play key role in 4-year, $20M award

Rockledge, FL - June 23, 2005 - Applied Global Technologies, proven experts in IP collaboration technologies and solutions, announces it has won the US Navy/Marines Video Teletraining contract that, with base and one year options, takes the agreement to 30 Sept. 2009. The selection criteria included technical approach, corporate experience, past performance and overall value to the program.

"Our superior performance ratings over the past five years reflects the dedication of AGT's professional and specialized on-site personnel," stated Michael Valletutti, CEO, Applied Global Technologies. "This program is an enormous effort that incorporates multiple data centers, disparate networks, scheduling software, course content, digital recording, technology management and high-touch services. We've developed a proven methodology that leads to increased utilization and cost savings - the Navy has reported that they receive a 100% return on their investment with AGT's managed services."

AGT's proprietary technologies have been used to enhance training over IP, ISDN, DISN and satellite communications for the Navy and Marines, and its innovative solutions incorporate the products and technology of its partner, Polycom, to deliver industry-leading solutions. Polycom Inc. (NASDAQ: PLCM) is the world's leading provider of Unified Collaborative Communications.

"As an industry leader, Polycom works hard to provide solutions to meet mission critical applications for our customers," said Bob Hagerty, Chairman and CEO of Polycom. "Teletraining continues to be a leading application for our unified collaborative architecture. Polycom is proud to be teamed with AGT in support of the US Navy and Marine Corps teletraining requirements."

"Polycom is pleased to be selected as partners with AGT, the US Navy and US Marine Corps" said Barry Morris, Polycom Vice President of Federal operations.
