Glowpoint Partners with Applied Global Technologies
Partnership Combines Glowpoint's IP Network With AGT's PERSPECTIVE Multimedia Gateway to Create Full-Service Collaboration Tools
            
Rockledge, FL and Hillside, NJ December 16, 2003 -  Applied Global Technologies, an innovative technologies company offering reliable and worry-free managed services for IP video, data and audio communications and Glowpoint, Inc. (NASDAQ: GLOW), the nation's first and leading carrier-grade IP-based video communications service provider, announced a sales and marketing partnership to provide customers with a comprehensive video communications service in the United States.   The agreement was signed this month and AGT plans to begin offering Glowpoint in its product solutions portfolio in the first quarter of 2004.
 
As the primary focus of the partnership, the two companies plan to package AGT's PERSPECTIVE™ user interface service with the Glowpoint network.  PERSPECTIVE™ is a multimedia gateway that supports converged applications in an IP environment, allowing users to access centralized workplace tools and collaborate in real-time to show PowerPoint® presentations, participate in web conferences, exchange live and streaming video, and much more with anyone they want, regardless of communication device.  AGT will also add Glowpoint IP-based video communications services as part of its Managed Services portfolio, providing customized solutions which may include operational personnel, custom software scheduling, collaboration tools and equipment maintenance.
