State of North Carolina
Names Applied Global Technologies to put Web and Video Collaboration
in Place
Rockledge, FL July 10, 2003 - Applied Global Technologies,
a worldwide outsourcer of reliable and worry-free video communication
services, announces it has won the State of North Carolina
RFP that requires video and web conferencing technology.
The $515,000 contract will provide the state with core H.323
network hardware and software, including MCU, Network Aware
Scheduling, Network Management, Web Conferencing and a solution
for seamless connectivity across the state's secure IP network.

The North Carolina Information Highway (NCIH) is a mission
critical network that offers data and video services to State
agencies, educational and health institutions.
The State of North Carolina will utilize Polycom and Ridgeway
Systems as part of the overall solution.
