names VP of Product Development
The technology company promotes from within to fill critical
role
Rockledge, FL July 1, 2003 - Applied Global Technologies,
a worldwide outsourcer of reliable and worry-free video communication
services, has named Todd Jacobson as its new VP of Product
Development. Jacobson is being promoted to this new
position this month.
Jacobson was responsible for the roadmap of VCAS, the AGT
software product which was recently sold to Polycom, the world's
leading manufacturer of conferencing equipment. The
product was renamed Polycom Conference Suite (PCS) in February.
"Todd has continued to exceed expectations in his
previous Director positions of Business Development and Product
Development. He has dedicated himself to understanding
the conferencing industry, participated in every facet of
AGT, and provided strategic management to ensure that future
R&D efforts solve specific problems," stated Mike
Valletutti, CEO. "R&D has been and will continue
to be AGT's key differentiator in the marketplace."
In Jacobson's new role, he will lead the AGT Research and
Development team in the continued development of ground breaking
products that will advance, enhance usage and provide ease-of-use
for the conferencing industry. AGT's Research
group is currently working on some innovative software solutions
in the area of convergence of voice, video and data over IP.

Jacobson joined AGT in November 2000 as Director of Business
Development. He holds his undergraduate degree from
Texas A&M and his Masters from Troy State University.
The Mississippi native is a former officer in the United States
Navy.
